I have not been able to do much photo editing in the last while because DH keeps messing with the computer. He changed from Mandriva to Ubuntu ( both are Linux). However when he did that, I lost some of my favorite editing tools because ubuntu was unable to support them.DH is such a sweety though and he down graded to an older ubuntu so I could have my plug-ins again. It makes me so happy! Except t now I stay up too late playing with my pictures. What are you going to do?
Also after much thought and research I have finally decided to get a Nikon D60 sometime in the near future.I talked to several people who have them and also some real Canon lovers, but I like the way the Nikon feels in my hands and the buttons on the back are laid out a little better than the Canon. At least in my opinion.I don't see myself purchasing a lot of different lenses.I think the one that it comes with is sufficient enough.I just want to take some good pictures of my kids and have fun doing it!
Its funny.I was just browsing through my posts and realized that there are almost no pictures of my "monkey".It probably has a lot to do with the fact that it is nearly impossible to get a picture of her without one or both hands covering her face
.
She becomes extremely disagreeable if she even sees the camera pointed in her direction. It is much easier to take pictures of my "pumpkin" because she is quite happy to flash you a little smile or show off her baby blues.Oh well.I just wanted to show you she really does exist!
Where did the time go?I can scarcely believe that a whole year has gone by and my "pumpkin" is no longer considered a baby!T-O-D-D-L-E-R pout pout. She has certainly developed a little bit of an attitude over these last few weeks. And one I don't really appreciate. She has very loud temper tantrums, does not like being told "NO" and gets very upset if her older sister has found a warm spot on my lap.Its not all bad though. She is sweet, lovable, makes me laugh ,
loves to hold her chubby little arms out for a cuddle and loves music and "dancing".She is almost at the point of being able to walk around. She took her first steps a few weeks ago but it is only now that she is gaining the confidence to really strike out on her own. There has not been any first words yet.But thats okay. I always find myself wondering "What will her voice sound like when she does?"I am looking forward to meeting more of who this little person will become over the next yearI will keep you posted!
